Welcome words from the pastor
(our mission and goals):

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Mathew 11:28.  By these words, the Son of God, Jesus Christ, invited everybody who is willing to follow Him and serve Him in this earthly life and in eternity.  Welcome to our church where anybody can follow this invitation given by our Savior.  Our church began its work among immigrant community from the former Soviet Union in the city of Jacksonville Florida in early 1993.

Our main goal is to get to know the Holy Trinity:  God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, through study of the Word of God given to man, which is the Holy Book or the Bible.  We study the Holy Scriptures on Fridays and Sundays (for all age groups).   We also have Bible study sessions for the youth on Mondays.  "But let him who boasts boast about this:  that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth." Jeremiah 9:24.
Our constant goal is to glorify our great and glorious God by holy Christian life, by singing praises to Him in choir and congregational signing of hymns during church services.  "Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good!  For His mercy endures forever."
Psalms 118:1.

Practical result of our serving the Lord Jesus Christ is the fact that we love, respect, and help each other as members of a single Christian family, by prayer, as well as spiritually and financially.  "By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:35.  We love all people and have desire to share the Word of our Lord with anyone.  We will accept into our Christian family anybody who has holy desire to accept salvation through Jesus Christ, to get to know God, to glorify Him, and to learn and practice Christian morals.  " The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call." Acts 2:39.

Dear friends!  Once again, welcome to the Russian-Ukrainian Church of Jesus Christ.

- Pastor Anatoli Ivanovich Kadaev

About us:

Our Church began in early 1993 with about 35 members as a Slavic Mission with Lake Shore Baptist Church.  Since then we have grown, but remain very close with Lake Shore Baptist Church, holding most of our services at their facility.  Currently about 150 people, immigrants from various parts of the Former Soviet Union (including Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, and Kazahstan), attend our services
We have a Sanctuary choir that sings during the main Sunday service.   Every second Sunday of each month we have a youth-oriented service.  Our contemporary Christian band usually performs on significant Christian holidays.  We have a Russian language class for children ages 7-14.  Every June our church hosts a week-long vacation bible school for children.  Older youths take camping trips every Summer.  We have a choir for small children.  Youth Bible study takes place every Monday.  A Bible study-oriented service for all age groups takes place every Sunday morning and Friday night.  We have Lord's Supper every first Sunday of each month.
Our church is affiliated with the Jacksonville Baptist Association, Florida Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention.
